Not only day tourists love it there. Sa Calobra is also popular for cyclists. For everyone who explores the island by bike, this is the highlight tour. To get there, you need to follow a steep road with a lot of turns downwards. But the ride is definitely worth it!
Tipps & Facts:
In summer it can get very busy at Sa Calobra. Better go Cala Tuent, which is another beautiful bay. You will find the road sign on the left side, almost at the end of the street before arriving at Sa Calobra. There it is a lot calmer and you have easier access to the water.
Drive carefully! You will have a lot of cyclists coming your way in both directions. Further you always have to be aware that buses might cross your way and there will be a lot of other cars with you on the street. Best is to go by scooter, but make sure you have enough fuel otherwise you will end up like us, rolling into the next gas station which is further away than you think :D
The restaurants in Sa Calobra are all over priced and super crowded. Better take a nice picnic with you and find a nice spot at the beach.
